Chans Garden Centre is a true family run business in Richmond, British Columbia. We have been providing gardening consulting and excellent products for 45 years and counting. We are owned and still operated by the Chan Family, our 3rd generation, of passionate growers.
Our specialties: our moss hanging baskets, mixed 10” & 12” hanging baskets, bedding & vegetable plants, garden nutrients and accessories, potting soil, and perennials. We also make up custom hangoing baskets and planters. Please inquire. We believe in the natural power of plants, flowers and growing your own to enhance, empower and enrich your life and whom you surround yourself with. we are offically open for our 2026 season!
we are geared up for our 2026 season, and our opening day. Please be patience with us as we are on the finishing finishes with our renovations. A complete make over of our garden centre and retail store that is not quite complete yet…but we are definitely opening…soon, with all the good stuff you have known of our garden centre. Of course the cru and team are still blooming strong. Same family, Same location, Same crazy…only looking different and better for many more years to come. we are excited to share our garden centre looking VERY different, this season and for many years to come, if you have not driven by our store front yet. WE CANNOT WAIT to see you for our 2026 season and have you take a look at our new appearance.

Our Services
At Chans Garden Centre, we offer a wide range of garden flowers, hanging baskets, vegetable plants along with some specialty flowers for your indoor space. We do carry product for landscaping your garden bed. We carry a range of garden nutrients, tools, and potting soils and mixes. We love helping out our customers, loyal and new. May you be starting off with your first ever garden and need knowledge to get you started, we are more the happy to assist and get you growing beautiful blooms or that vegetable garden you have wanted. We offer our knowledge of 25+ years of expertise to you, free of charge. Our way of giving back to the community! Our seasonal business is open April, May & June, 9am to 6pm daily, to July, 9am to 5pm.
